Hi! Thanks for visiting. My name is John and I have been professionally photographing weddings, events, portraits & sports for the last 5 years. I say professionally because I've been seeing & capturing images since I was in about 1st grade. I used to take pictures with a 110 & 35mm Kodak and send in the rolls by mail and anxiously wait 3-4 weeks to get them back. I got into digital in about 1998 when I got my first PC & Kodak point & shoot. It was quite liberating to be able to see the images in real time and print them on my home printer. I was still not satisfied with the quailty though. Flash forward to 2006 when I got my 1st DSLR and made a commitment and investment in my dream of becoming a photographer.

You can say that what started off as an expensive hobby has turned into a passion. I give many thanks to the Digital Era for allowing me this creative outlet. I also give a bigger thanks to my loving wife who has supported me throughout this whole time! What would a Photographer do without a loving wife holding the fort down?!

You can click on Blog to read up on my latest work & adventures as well as see some images. Newcomers can click on Portfolio to open up a new window with a collection of galleries of my favorite images. The Bio button will ummm… give you the weather forecast for Istanbul. Recent Posts are my last 3 blog posts. The Categories menu will filter certain type of blog posts and let you choose to see what you want to see. Don’t ignore the search button as it can help you find who/what you’re looking for quickly. You can use the Facebook & Twitter sliders on the left to see what I’m up to in real time.
