Matteo’s Baptism

A lifetime ago I used to play baseball & go to school with a kid named Chris. Fast forward 20+ years and Chris is happily married and has a beautiful baby boy. I felt elated to be asked to photograph Matteo’s Christening. It was held at the same church where Chris and his wife Teresa were married. I love working with children and especially babies. It’s so much fun to watch their curious eyes behind my lens. I had a great time catching up with Chris and meeting his wonderful family.

I still can’t get over how the Internet has changed our lives. I probably would have never seen Chris again if it weren’t for this incredible medium… I’m glad it exists. Thanks Francesca for letting me partake in your special day.

Gilberto & Maria’s Wedding

I met Maria a few years ago when she was in school. We lost touch after she finished her courses and like many others reconnected through Facebook. I was excited for her when she told me she was having a baby and even more excited when she asked me to take some pictures of her civil marriage. I met with Gilberto to discuss our approach and we decided to head to Jersey City Pier to get some images. He is a great down to earth guy and I know they will be happy for years to come!

Lester & Lucille’s Wedding

When I was approached by Lucille to photograph their wedding, I was immediately looking forward to it. Her fiancee Lester had graduated from the same high school as I had and is currently serving our country as a Marine. I was honored to be asked to be a part of their event… and I was thinking about all the cool shots I’d get of him in his uniform.

Now, Lester and Lucille were married in Hawaii this last summer but they decided to have a small wedding for the family and friends who couldn’t make it out to there. In stark contrast to their hot, sunny island wedding their NJ wedding was held in the middle of our 1st snowstorm of the year. However, the blizzard like conditions were not going to deter people from showing up and having a great time!

As I said it was a wonderful night. I hear they’re planning another celebaration…underwater…

Summer ‘09 Weddings I

This past Summer was a pretty busy one for me. I had a fair amount of personal work to shoot and that kept me pretty busy. However, I had the privilege of working with Josh Lynn on a few Weddings. It was a great Season in that I worked in some of the best venues in NJ and saw a Master @ work. I also had the chance to open a few boxes of chocolate… more on that @ a later date…

I will post some of my favorite shots from a few of them over the next few weeks. They are straight from camera, unedited pics except for Color & a few B&W.

This is a Wedding I assisted “The” Josh Lynn with during the Summer. They were a great couple and their wedding had great energy and excitement. So much so that the Firemen came to cool things down a bit…

Nicholas Biasi Newborn Pictures

Nicholas came into the world on August 6th, 2009. I had the pleasure of capturing his 1st moments 3 weeks later. He brought his dad good fortune as the Yankees captured their 1st World Championship in 1 years 1 month later. Make sure to check out the Slideshow @ the end.

Rachel & Mike @ Liberty House Restaurant

I had the chance to work with a great couple at a snazzy spot. It was a fairly low key Wedding & the weather didn’t hold up, but Rachel made the best of her day and everyone had a great time! I was only there for the Ceremony and Reception, but I think you get the idea from the following images.

Hi folks. It’s know it’s been a few weeks since my last post, but there should be about 3-4 coming quickly.

I had the pleasure of working with Anna, Steven & their wonderful children a few weeks ago. I knew Anna back in another life….High School. Facebook reconnected us and now I had the pleasure of capturing her family. We went to Davis Johnson park where I had shot a Wedding earlier in the Summer. Very nice park! The shoot went well & it was great to catch up with Anna & her family.

Donato 50th Wedding Anniversary

Last week I had the honor of being asked to Photograph the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Anthony & Marie Donato. They are staples in the Cliffside Park Community and admired for their kindness. I’ve know Mr. Donato for a while as he would always come to our HS football games and watch us slap teams around. He was a big fan. I was Psyched as a young lad because his son was & still is a CP Legend. Mrs. Donato is a beautful woman who was always nice to me and has a wonderful heart. 50 years together is no small detail an should be viewed as a real committment which younger generations seem to lack.

I was really impressed and a tad emotional while I was scanning their lifelong images to make a slideshow for their party. It was incredible looking at them as young kids growing up in the area. They are a strong Italian Family with wonderful, strong roots that will continue to spread for future generations to come. Thank you again Lynda & Maria for asking me to be part of your special day.
